History of the company TIKAL GmbH

Company Tikal Bauchemie was set-up in 1997. In the first years, the focus was on development and production of high-quality, effective acrylate gels for the sanitation of buildings.
The new company Tikal Spezialbaustoffe GmbH was set-up in 2001, and the product range was expanded to include polyurethanes and epoxides for special applications in the maintenance of buildings and for protection against humidity.
Since 2002, the sales network was expanded to all of Europe. From 2006 on, our competent partners also distributed our products to the Middle East and many former Soviet states.
Today, Tikal Spezialbaustoffe GmbH mainly produces injection materials based on acryl, epoxide and PUR, and sells different materials used for sealing waterproof concrete.
Since 2005, our brand Tikal Marine Systems also covers the professional, innovative shipbuilding market. The Marine Systems subsidiary produces high-grade products based on epoxide and PUR, and the employees provide consulting and know-how from professional ship and yacht building.
